Let’s Talk Disability is a storytelling and conversation platform created to centre the voices, insights, and lived experiences of disabled staff, students, and partners across our community. Rooted in openness and authenticity, the series aims to challenge assumptions, break down barriers, and deepen understanding of disability in all its forms — including long‑term health conditions, neurodivergence, fluctuating conditions, and hidden disabilities. By creating space for real conversations, we strive to shift the narrative from awareness to meaningful action, highlighting not only the barriers people face but also the innovation, resilience, and leadership that disabled people bring to our University and beyond.

Through interviews, reflections, and honest dialogue, each episode invites listeners to explore the complexity of disability inclusion — from navigating workplace accessibility and digital inclusion, to the power of advocacy, allyship, and community networks. Whether we are amplifying sector‑leading practice, sharing personal stories, or opening up conversations about systemic change, Let’s Talk Disability serves as a catalyst for deeper connection and continued progress.

Our aim is simple: to create an environment where everyone feels seen, valued, and heard, and to spark conversations that lead to more equitable and inclusive experiences for all. We invite you to listen, reflect, and join us as we work collectively to build a culture where disability inclusion is embedded, celebrated, and championed.
